nice to meet you.
I’m Denise,
I’m a New Mexico-born and raised marketing and communications professional with nearly a decade of experience understanding audiences, finding the stories that move them, and turning those stories into content built for digital platforms.
My background spans agency and in-house roles, consumer research, paid media, digital strategy, content development, and campaign planning. That range of experience has taught me that the strongest marketing rarely starts with asking, “What should we post?” It starts with understanding who we’re trying to reach, what they care about, and what we genuinely have to say to them.
My experience spans industries and audiences, from renewable energy, gaming, food and beverage, and events to campaigns and national coalitions. I’ve helped businesses build their digital presence and tell their stories, led content for local campaigns that turned limited name recognition into measurable growth in awareness, and led communications for a national coalition, developing distributed content strategies, coordinating partners, and facilitating creator content around major national moments.
Through Roadrunner Fractional Marketing, I bring that experience back home. I’m especially passionate about working with New Mexico businesses and organizations that care deeply about the communities they serve and have something meaningful to say.
I help you understand your audience, find the story, and create content that gives people a reason to pay attention.
